About
The UNYAPM (Upstate New York Association of Physicists in Medicine ) organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, and educational purpose as defined under Section 501(c)(3). Our chapter territory currently includes membership in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany and their vicinities (essentially all of the New York State except for Metropolitan New York City).
The main purposes of the UNYAPM are:
- To promote the application of physics to medicine and biology.
- To encourage interest and training in medical physics and related fields.
- To prepare and disseminate technical information in medical physics and related fields.
